Times were tough, but Sitara Khatun had a resolve of steel. Her husband lost his job as a nationwide lockdown was clamped, and soon they didn’t have enough to pay even for their children’s school fees. The family started a small meat shop in their locality Naharpur village, but their were no takers. Sitara wanted to try her hands at a spices shop to compliment the meat outlet and encourage buyers to have the best of both the worlds at the same time. UOR Cares Foundation extended a helping hand, enabling Sitara Khatun to begin her journey with renewed hope and vigour to make lives tastier, more colorful and fragrant.
