The sunlit morning of August 31, 2023, witnessed the UOR Cares 87 team coming together with a single purpose – to celebrate Raksha Bandhan in a way that would leave an indelible mark on these young souls.

At the heart of the celebration were the Crochet Rakhis, lovingly handcrafted by artisans from Himachal. This intricate artistry was made possible through the partnership with Chap Foundation, an
organization dedicated to preserving traditional craftsmanship and empowering local artists. These Rakhis were not just threads, but tiny tokens of love, artistry, and tradition, embodying the essence of Raksha Bandhan.

The items distributed included:
